The Peel Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. is a collective of volunteer operators from the Peel Region who manage the resources of the Peel Chamber to ensure there is a VOICE and a FUTURE for YOUR BUSINESS. The Peel Chamber is the 'peak' industry body recognised by Local, State and Federal Governments.
We LISTEN, INFORM, CONNECT & GROW
But we need more resources to ensure we are loud enough and strong to be heard by all the relevant parties.

Your Peel Chamber is the collective voice of business, across the Peel Region.
Peel Chamber is the 'peak' industry body with which all Government departments and related agencies regularly consult. Peel Chamber is continuously requested to provide letters of support for development applications and engaged for feedback prior to policy creation, the implementation of changes and if State or Federal Departments seek clarification about the impacts of decision making.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The Executive Board is mindful of the diversity within the business sector, particularly in relation to affordable support networks and that is why we have tailored membership packages to suit all sizes of business. We can enhance membership with additional opportunities to sponsor and advertise across the year at individual Business Breakfasts, Trade Expos, Lunchbox Seminars and Business After Hours events.

WHAT DOES THE CHAMBER ACTUALLY DO?
PEEL CHAMBER - EVENTS
Peel CCI partners with like-minded organisations such as Rotary Club of Mandurah who present the annual Pride in Workmanship Awards (PIW). The Peel Business Excellent Awards (PBEA) are yearly business awards hosted in September. From our local business awards, you have the opportunity to enter the West Australian Regional Small Business Awards (WARSBA's). We also host monthly Business After Hours networking events, which give individual businesses the ability to showcase their products and business/organisation to the Peel Business Community.
Peel Chamber's committees also assist to organise promotion at events such as the Perth Caravan & Camping Show, Trade Expos and Tourism Exchanges.
PEEL CHAMBER – BETSF - EDUCATION & TRAINING
Peel CCI partners with the stakeholders such as Peel Development Commission, Murdoch University Executive Education Centre, Shire of Murray, City of Mandurah and Alcoa to roll out the Royalties for Regions project BETSF - Business Education Training Series Framework
Tier 1 – Service Excellence in the Peel Region. Peel Chamber will deliver affordable customer service training.
Tier 2 – Project Management Business & Strategic planning workshops
Tier 3 – Murdoch University’s Management Masterclass
The Peel Region will be recognised as the ultimate in the delivery of business products & services.
PEEL CHAMBER - ADVOCACY
Officers and Board Members from the Peel Regional Chamber attend the yearly, Regional Chambers Conference along with 16 other WA Chambers, which includes round table discussions with Members from all major parties at Parliament House.
Officers and Board members represent members and the wider business community through deputations to Local Government Councils on a regular basis. Deputations are an efficient resource that enables Councillors to understand fully the impact of their decision making on the whole of the community.
PEEL CHAMBER - THINK LOCAL, BUY LOCAL CAMPAIGNS
With our encouragement, Local and State Governments have been proactive with reviews of their Procurement & Tender processes. Peel CCI works closely with Chamber of Commerce & Industry of WA, (CCIWA) and the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) to secure local business content at percentage rates and a transparent process for the local spend by State and Federal Government departments.
PEEL CHAMBER - SAFETY & SECURITY SUPPORT
Peel CCI supported the Safer Business Forum held by the City of Mandurah and attended in situ to assist the business community on the Western Foreshore to meet with City Officers, Councillors, and the Police to secure a safer environment for businesses and the community. Peel CCI will continue to assist with this project to secure better outcomes for businesses in relation to the costs and disruptions from crime due to graffiti, shop theft, and anti-social behaviour. Ali Smith – a strong Chamber member is working hard with all stakeholders to deliver a Family Friendly Foreshore
PEEL CHAMBER - DISCOVER PEEL PROJECT & PEEL TOURISM
Our hardworking committee, 'Peel Tourism', has completed the handover of the Billboards on the Forrest Highway with an MOU between Main Roads and 3 Local Governments for the continuation of the call to action through creative imagery.
The Mandurah & Peel Map and the website upgrade to an interactive version for consumers remains the valuable asset of the Peel Chamber and will be overseen by the Peel Tourism Committee.
PEEL CHAMBER - BAHS/ NETWORK GROUPS & OTHER COMMITTEES
It is absolutely fantastic that many groups are currently meeting for networking functions, to market a location or to package products & services.
Peel Chamber is an incorporated body with a Board, a Constitution and a protective Governance structure. Therefore, any Committee of the Peel Chamber has access to and the protection of our Legal & Governance Structure, our Administration Services, our Insurance Cover & Protection, our Advocacy & Lobbying at Federal, State and Local Government level, our Promotional & Marketing Activities, and our Education and Training initiatives, workshops, lunchbox seminars and anything else to which we commit ourselves.

THE 'MOTHER' OF ALL SURVEYS
We ensure we deliver outcomes for businesses through our partnership with the Regional Chambers network & CCIWA. Results of our survey, along with policy and advocacy issues will be fed through to Regional Chambers as a submission to CCIWA to assist with State and Federal Election Campaigns.
