Around 80 guests attended Peel Chamber’s first Business After Hours for 2018
showcasing DIY Bali Huts & Decks and Food&Co.
Peel Chamber President Donna Cocking opened the event by welcoming guests, thanking our wonderful hosts and acknowledging VIP’s. Donna announced a few key upcoming events including the How To Improve Your Management and Leadership Skills Workshop, February Business After Hours showcasing Kennards Hire Mandurah, How to Create a Stand Out Awards Submission and the 2018 Alcoa Peel Business Excellence Awards.
Donna went on to launch the ‘Pinjarra Local Business Guide’, as part of the Peel Chamber’s ongoing Think Local - Shop Local campaign. “We have produced this guide to encourage local residents and visitors to shop in Pinjarra to build capacity and inject money into the local economy”, Donna said. Thanks was given to the various businesses who placed an advert in the guide and it is hoped that similar guides can be produced for other hubs in the Peel Region.
Dave and Corey Dennis from DIY Bali Huts & Decks then provided a brief presentation on the various services and products offered and the range of materials used. Tennille O’Neill from Food&Co was then introduced and she provided an insight into the history of Food&Co, where you can find their food truck and catering services available.
Two fantastic door prizes were up for grabs, a Tradie Esky Pack, won by Aaron Rekman of Azztek Kitchens and a $50 Food&Co. voucher won by Meegan Moses of On Point Realty Group.
Business After Hours networking events are a great way to meet and network with other businesses throughout the Peel Region.
